Does anyone knows whether the Pentax 645Nii can be used with Infra-red film?
The camera writes the exposure details etc onto the film rebate, but outside the image frame - having never done IR photography before, I'm not sure if this would cause fogging.

can you develop infrared film the same way as regular?

Oooh! You hi-jacked my post! :greenpbl:
Lol - only joking....hopefully someone experienced with IR film and the 645Nii can answer both our questions.

I know that for cameras with the infra red film advances, some mild degree of fogging is to be expected, but it apparently does not intrude into the frame.
I've not tried IR film in any of my cameras that have this feature, I stick with my manual cameras when I shoot HIE, which is 35mm film. So I can't say with any certainty that this holds true with a 645. The best way to find out is to try it with one roll.
