Hey Stu et al, my wife and I had a great time. It was fun meeting you and I hope we can all do it again sometime soon.

It was unfortunate the ice sculptures were in a shaded area but it was fun to watch.

Haha I dunno, I just had a shower now and I finally feel well enough to take off my sweater and stick it out with a t-shirt :P

Loving #4 from that set (the one two posts above mine...you posted the one other one as I typed this...), btw...we had almost identical shots of that :D

*side note - it's pretty 'cool' and/or 'sweet' to have someone else's images to see from the same time/place as I was at....not to mention the company of having someone else to shoot with*

#11 - Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now?
http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/2294/hearye4.jpg

Anyway...that's it for most of my 'group' shots. Got some 'artsy fartsy' ones (a term me and anty were having a good giggle over) I'll get up tommorrow, once me and Eric stop hoggin the limelight...;)

Wow-ie!
You had a meet-up yet again!?!?!?
More envy flowing from here to there.
You can only make it up by all coming to "my" meet-up in Germany in May 2008, you know!??!?

And then I want to see ever so many, many different photos of my boring place.

Not to say that ANY OF THESE is boring in any way !!!!!!!!!!!!
No!

Not one's boring.
They are all super-interesting.
So good to see you all in them, too, and the ice carving action and the ice sculptures and colourful photos of sunny (!) Toronto (by AIRIC, man you did find the colours, didn't you?!?!?) which look even quite warm. Whereas I do admit that many of the others show quite a bit of winter coldness... something we don't know much about any more in my part of the world

Ah, I wish I could for once be part of your meet-ups with all of you!!!

Stu.....it was absolutely awesome to meet you. We gotta do this again when you get back to the big schmoke next time. Maybe the temps will actually be on the plus side. :lmao:

Really an amazing day to get together. The company was great:thumbup:

Thanks for the Schtickem Corry.

Finally got some editing done. sooo sorry for the delay.

Since we did not have to meet till 1pm(2pm Anty time) Jenn and I headed out early to explore some spots along the lake. Our first stop being Bluffers Park. It was nice seeing the swans out enjoying the sun.
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-12/564918/CRW_3043-01a.jpg

After Bluffers we ventured over to the Docks, to catch a few shots of the city. A shot of Jenn getting her view of Toronna.

Megapaws suggested a really cool place to park, which was free.  , and we hiked from there. One of my first ever architectural abstracts

I have always loved the architecture in this city. They have the old right beside the new. This church is from the early 1900's, with a brand new condo right beside it. The contrasts in the two can be really striking with the right light.....hey...who is that in my picture. :lmao:
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-12/564918/CRW_3105-01a.jpg

Heehee, we were joking about all the threats you'd had last time...everything from the guy waving the meat cleaver, to the guy sticking his hand in front of your camera. And you did nothing to provoke them!

Hope you can make the next meetup...we need you to run interference.
