Ok, official edit block. I wanted to create a really grimey feel but im not having any look and i dont want to reach for the colourize like i usually do when im stuck.

What can you do with old food! I'd love to see some attempts

That's really not old food. You should see what I have found in my kids room.

As if it's from a cinematic still... maybe a shot on the set of Saw?

Colorize is a setting used in the Hue Saturation sectkion of Photoshop. It is sometimes used to create a sepia style look. You can basically set a colour filter over your image using Hue Saturation and lightness controls.
