A cheap restaurant owner hijacked two premium copyright images from a marketing mailout, plus a sheaf of copy. Bastardized it in a cheap brochure, and distributed it all over London via a distribution agency for a month.
How much can I get?
Any helpful experiences?

If the world was perfect, you would now own a cheap restaurant because of this offense..
But, I would in all reality see that you could receive damages for theft of copyrighted work..
Your Attorney would have to be the one to identify the value of the work that was stolen..
Good Luck, and get them hard! Theft of anothers work is horrible.. and makes it hard to want to put things out on the web... I can't stand people like that..

What compounded the crime was that it compromises an important event I'm promoting quite near this chophouse. The images are the press images which have been distributed all over town.
So he stole them in the full knowledge of what he was doing.

Rip into him. Write to him and demand recompence,[don't mention a figure at this stage] see if you get a reply, if you do or don't, either way see your legal people.
