Just bought a Canon EOS 300

I just bought a second hand Canon EOS 300 with a 28-90 mm lens. I paid about $50 for it.

So, does anyone else have this camera? What do you think of it?

Sounds like a decent deal. I'd replace the lens with a better quality one as soon as you can, though. Cheap optics show in the images. You'll get more out of it by putting better optics in front of it; it's the lens that makes the camera.

Yeah, the lens I got with it seems to be more plastic than anything else. I'm moving to england after the summer and I'm hoping to find some second hand camera shops so I can get my hands on some more lenses and other camera gear.

I live in england and you'll be lucky to get a good 2nd hand lens for under £100 !!!! I have a 2nd hand EOS 500 which I got off ebay with a good Tamron 28-80 for £70 and I'm really pleased with it so far.
