Flash with dSLR

Idiot question. Can I use my Cobra Nikon-dedicated flash unit with a Nikon D70?

Should be able to. Generally, any hot-shoe flash will work with any hot-shoe, as I understand it, but you just might not get advanced features of the flash and/or camera. Still, if it's for a Nikon camera, and it's going on a Nikon camera, then I'd assume it'd work as intended.

Then again, that might just be what I'd get for assuming.
