I would like to know if a 80-200mm zoom lens from a Pentax K1000 would fit a MZ50.

I am not 100% sure, but it should fit, as long as the K-1000 is bayonet mount (not screw-in type) The MZ (ZX in the US) accepts FA, F and A series lenses.

Thanks,
Ismael

It'll work fine, but you won't get auto-exposure or auto-focus. I use a 50mm from my k1000 on my zx-m and it works fine. And now that I think about it, you'll get aperture priority, but not shutter priority. So yeah.. It'll work fine if you dont mind focusing yourself (I hate AF!)
