I made this image to show the laser cutting process, but I feel it come's off as less than dramatic. I would like some ideas of ehancement that will help illustrate this. Thanks!

I'd get closer to the area of action. It's hard to see what's really happening here so I'd zoom into where the cut is taking place and let there be a trail from where it's already been cut some.

Agreed, you don't need the top section of the picture. I would also be tempted to darken the tones a touch too.

oooo we have a laser cutter at school.....its great fun. but yeah, i agree with the others.... get in close to that laser cutting action... but not too close or else you'll be re-enacting a James Bond scene lol

Nice shot, try getting a shot of the actual peirce if you can, I got a few a while back from the laser I run at work and shots of the peirce look cool.

I hope you don't mind but I took about 5 min. and edited your pic. I raised the contrast ALOT and cropped a bit off the top. Border is just a paintbrush in Photoshop.

I think I lost some detail around the actual laser.

Just did a bit of editing in PS. Don't know if it's really what you're looking for.

B&W, increased contrast, add a inverse green layer mask
