I took a few shots of a storm brewing here. I really like them, but cannot decide if any are worth keeping as is or keeping and tweaking a little..this is where your eyes come in. It is always better viewed from a different angle and my angle is bias because I took them LOL.

Anyway, here they are:

I agree with the lack of something to focus on, I just thought the sky looked so cool and wanted to capture it.http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c3/Txspeachfzz/storms1abw.jpg

I like number 2, but I think it would look better as a B/W. Not too contrasty, but enough to get the job done, if you know what I mean.

I also prefer the number 2. I like how the color of the sky and the trees sillhouette blends well. Great effect of the sky, very crisp.

I agree i think they are over sharpened

I think the first one is the best.

are any of these the original un-edited version?

To my mind, your question, Sara, would have qualified a lot better for the Photoshop Challenge Sub-Forum in the Photo Themes... and the replies you are getting here with so many different attempts at doing something about your photos and editing them is exactly what is being expected in that subforum.
I will therefore move this thread over there.
