I have a shot where the exposure was pretty extreme and I didn't have a tripod to get a couple shots. I used raw to pull these two images, how can I overlay them so that I get the best of both?

Put the dark sky one over the light sky one via layers. Add a masking layer to the dark sky one, and with a black brush go over the couch and logs etc, this will allow the ones you exposed for the bottom to come through. Heres a quick example.

Argh layers are so confusing... anyone with paintshop pro able to explain it better? or is that as "easy as it gets", kara?
