Arty: The last one is fantastic - a really great job. I'd forgotten about the Sabattier Effect - you don't see it often these days.

Thanks :)
I hand drew the flame and put that on a new layer, use a perspective tool to make the flame have more depth, and then instead of having the layer be normal, I changed it to 'burn' so than it took on the texture of the bus.

I just found a picture of a spinning hub cap and used the perspective tool to make it fit.

For the Photo Forum destination I just added the text, tilted it, and used a paintbrush to make it 2 shades and add the shadow effect.

so you live in brighton rob?

Used to when I was young and carefree (so to speak). I went to university there, gave it up shortly into the impossible course and then started my own business. I still really love it and try to get down there at least once a month. I may buy a house there as I can probably sell my flat in Bromley for the same price as a house in Brighton environs.

It's a great photo location as the people are usually less conventional and inhibited than other areas in the south east and they often like their picture taken. There's also loads of light, good scenes and things like the West Pier to take pictures of.

ukphotographs group meet there fairly frequently and it's our preferred location for model shoots and stuff. Bank Holiday weekends are great as it's packed with people, motorbikes, car rallies and such things. That photo came from a coach rally where people were playing with coaches on the seafront.

I gave black and white a stab...and added a frame b/c it really makes it look much sharper. Was gonna try some fun stuff but my computer started acting up so maybe later :)

That's cool Amanda - you've managed to make the bus really black!
