Ive never entered a TPF competition before. How loosely related to the title, can the photo be?
Can it just be a young or old anything? a relation between the two? or just generally anything no matter how tenuously linked?
I have lots of ideas but not sure what will pass in the judges eyes.

well there arent really any judges, first off. everyone here in the forum votes for the photos and one with the most votes at the end wins. you can put basically anything you want in there as your photo, but if it is way off topic and nobody can figure out the underlying theme in your photo that somehow relates to the topic, you might not get that many votes. if your photo is obscene or something though, i doubt it will 'pass' the 'judges' that put up the photos for us to vote on.

As thebeginning said, it's up to you. You see the challenge title and do your best to take a photograph which you think fits. It may seem completely off topic to some, but it's what you as a photographer thinks which counts.
When the users vote they are supposed to vote for the photograph they think best fits the challenge title. So keep that in mind when taking the photograph if you want to win. If you just want to have fun and possibly give other people a different line to think along, then it doesn't matter so much.
And... you can always post the ones you don't enter in the other forums. As long as it doesn't give away what you entered. :)

Do we upload the image into the e-mail, or do we send a link? :???: Does it matter any other way?

lol... You ever have the perfect picture in your head but then can't ever seem to find it to take the picture? I have a nice idea but can't seem to find it in reality anywhere =p
