Hello all, I just found a really neat way to take incident light readings without having to buy a handheld meter.Accurate to 1/10th stop, the device is basically a translucient lens cap that allows 18% light transmission thus converting the internal reflected light meter in my camera to an incident light reading device. These have been on the market for years(long before auto focus). They were heavily advertised when they first came out. PopPhoto even mentioned them in one of their issues. I can't attest to their accuracy, but it may be worth a try.

...and, to save the cost of purcashing these discs -- a white styrofoam cup (the sort that coffee-to-go is served in) works a treat too!
