Hi Folks,
My name is Steve and I'm from Arlington Tx. I have owned cameras on and off for about 20 years but didn't begin to take the hobby very serious until about three years ago.
I had a Kodak DC215 that just wans't cutting the mustard so I went to a Coolpix 995. I loved the creative control that camera afforded me and still have it.
I got to a point where I began to have issue with the overall performance of the camera (shutter lag) and began to notice that I was not really thinking about what makes a shot work. I would take a shot, look at the screen, and change settings till I got what I wanted.
Because of all that I went to shooting film again. I have a Canon Elan 7E (EOS 300 in Europe I think) It should hold me off till I can afford the EOS 1DS or whatever else come along between now and then.
