Exotic Bird

Anyone know what kind of bird this is? I got the opportunity to capture it last month, but I'm not too keen on bird species. Anyways, any C&C would be appreciated. Thanks for looking!

um.. some kind of a parrot. not sure exactly what kind

nice colors, the sky by his is blown way out, and the tail feathers that are cut off kind of bother me
other then that, nice shot!

Those are the two things that bother me about this shot too. Any way I can fix the sky in Photoshop or anything? Thanks for the comments!

i believe you can, im not a big photo shop user(mabey because i don't have it :)) but i think the burn tool would do the trick, if im wrong someone please tell me

Looks like it may be a Military Macaw, but I'm not sure on the tail feathers.

Edit/ Yes it is a Military Macaw.

A Military Macaw... hmmm. Very cool. How'd you know that off the top of your head?

If anyone knows how to fix blown out parts of a picture with Photoshop, let me know! Thanks for the advice, Matt... I'll see if I can figure it out. I don't really know all the tools and stuff on there.

How'd you know that off the top of your head?

I own a couple of parrots, one of which is a Blue & Glod Macaw, so I am a little familiar with most of the others.
