Nice shots :) I think they could benefit from a bit of post processing. The contrast could be bumped up a bit.

They are good. "Bee in flight" photos have been on my "want-to-get-one"-list for quite a while. So one of those taken last year in spring won a competition and will still give me a free meal in a restaurant (as the prize) :biggrin:

You know, looking at them again they look better. Maybe cause I was looking at them in a dark room this morning.

Anyway, here is one with just the curves adjusted. I'm no pro at post processing, so its not perfect...

I really need to practise on taken pics of bees in flight.I had really hard time getting some decent ones.No tripod used,and my lens is the 55mm so a better lens and a tripod is on my wish list.

Any hints on taking better pics?..what filter can i use?
The cam i have is the Nikon D40 with the standard 55mm.
